ABOUT
The Opportunity Hub is an innovative kiosk on the Buchanan Mall in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The Hub allows the community, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to thrive and interact with neighbors on a daily basis. It serves not only as entertainment for the community but as an educational space providing science and art exhibitions led by local youth, as well as digital media/live demonstrations of art, technology, and music.
The Hub collaborates with many after-school programs such as Mo Magic, Prince Hall, and Hayward Park. All ages are welcome to participate in daily activities which include: jewelry-making classes, painting, daily exercise, and pickleball.
As part of the ongoing Buchanan Mall Renovation Project, the Opportunity Hub is located at

The Hub is a partnership between Citizen Film, the Exploratorium SF Rec & Park, and a coalition of community-based organizations as part of the Buchanan Change Initiative.
